The Challenge
This Connecticut based start-up magazine is geared towards the actively engaged 50+ year old market. Our challenge was to move this Connecticut based publication to a national audience with limited funding and resources.
The Approach
Brand Connectix sought to develop corporate-based strategic partnerships by exchanging funding for value added advertising, editorials and free subscriptions for investors to provide to their respective customer bases.
The Results
This win-win approach for the start-up and corporate sponsors generated strong interest among regional and local companies, but not on a national level. So Brand Connectix made appropriate adjustments to sponsorship levels and budget commitments to make the sponsorships relevant at these levels, and also worked with the publisher’s decision to take the publication to a digital format, suitable for national expansion.
